Help?
When searching for particular pieces, enter numbered works as "Symphony No. 9" or "Quartet No. 4". Named works can usually be found by keyword(s) such as Emperor or Trout.
Enter catalogue numbers without spaces or punctuation and with letters in uppercase.
Keywords may be separated by "AND" or "OR" statements for greater control of the search results.
For example, Symphonies AND Symphony would generate search results that contain both words. However, if you search for Symphonies OR Symphony, the results would contain both or either words.
Exact matches can be searched for by enclosing keywords in double-quotes.
For example, "Symphony No. 9" would generate results which match the phrase "Symphony No. 9" exactly, but would not find any entries with "Symphony" or "Symphony No. 29" in their title or description.
Brackets can be used to further refine the results.
For example, Beethoven AND (Symphonies OR Symphony OR "Symphony No. 9").
Performers may be listed in our catalogue under a popular abbreviation such as LSO for London Symphony Orchestra.
The catalogue numbers are listed with all punctuation or spaces removed, and all letters are in uppercase.
