The Classical CD Exchange is a site devoted to second-hand classical
music CDs. We guarantee unconditionally every CD we sell (see Information
- Guarantee). Our catalogue includes a picture of every CD cover (these pictures are not stock reference pictures but show the exact cover design and are usually of the actual CD for sale)
Browsing our classical collection
You will find our Stock List and search boxes in the top left-hand
corner of this page.
Our catalogue is designed to make browsing as easy as possible:
• Composers - alphabetically by composer's name
• Classical collections - by type of collection
• Performers - by category of performer
Once a section is open, just click on any of the links within it to see all its classical titles (major composers are further subdivided by music category).
Viewing our classical titles
Each composer's works are listed in a standard format:
• Concertos, symphonies and other orchestral works
• Works for solo instrument and chamber music - duets, trios, quarters, quintets etc.
• Vocal and choral works (secular followed by sacred)
• Operas, ballets and other dramatic works
• Miscellaneous collections
Ordering from The Classical CD Exchange
We have made the ordering process as simple as possible and you can order and pay on-line easily and
securely. (For more detail about secure purchasing online, see Information - Security). All our prices include VAT.
Selling / exchanging used classical CDs
If you have classical CDs for sale or exchange,
just send us a list and we will tell you what we can offer
(please include the label name and catalogue number). If
you want to exchange, please advise us which titles you want
from us - including our stock reference number.
We regret that we do not buy budget or super-budget labels
as these are such good value new there is little market for
them second-hand. Neither do we buy CDs given away with magazines.
We guarantee the quality of all the CDs we sell so we can
only buy CDs that are in perfect or very near perfect condition,
including the labels and booklets. The boxes of boxed sets
must also be in good condition though we can replace jewel
cases.
